This one-day program is packed with topics to help improve your turf. Joe Clark (Rutgers Turfgrass/Horticulture Research Farm) and Brad Park (Department of Plant Biology and Pathology) tag team to provide practical applications of good turf science.

This turf training program covers:

  • Prevention and control of turf pests;
  • Soil compaction;
  • Testing and tilling;
  • Choosing turfgrass varieties;
  • Adjusting the amount of water for better results;
  • And more!

Be prepared to go outside and see demonstrations on the Rutgers Turf Farm.

The December 18, 2019 offering of this course was approved for the following credits. We will reapply for similar credits the next time the course runs, but we cannot guarantee credit approval for future offerings.

NOTE: Individuals who wish to receive pesticide recertification credits at any of our courses will need to know their applicator license number and arrive at class on time. Please bring your pesticide license with you to class. If you are late to class, you will not receive credits.
