Over the course of two years beginning in 2014, DCF and its stakeholders began to work toward becoming a trauma-informed system. To assist in this process, we launched a symposia series in June 2014 on trauma informed care that has featured experts in the field to educate staff, stakeholders, and the community-at-large.
