Video Preview: LGBTQIA Sensitivity Training with Instructor Annette Brent
LGBTQIA Sensitivity Workplace Training
LGBTQIA. Lesbian, gay, bi, trans... the Q? I? A? If you're unsure, you're not alone!
Members of the LGBTQIA community live in your neighborhood and work in your business. They shop at your store, bank at your institution, and get treatment at your medical practice. But are they welcome? Are they treated with the same respect as others? If not, they won't be back -- they'll take their business elsewhere.
In this 15-minute course preview, presenter Annette Brent will explain what the letters in LGBTQIA mean, share the challenges these individuals face, and help you better relate to a population you may not have previously understood. You'll also learn 5 simple strategies to make your business more inclusive and more welcoming for LGBTQIA customers, clients, patients, and employees.
In the full course, Annette Brent explores these topics in more depth and provides even more strategies to help your organization be more welcoming to this population.
