Created for the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), this 1-hour interactive module introduces police, fire, and EMS personnel to the signs and symptoms of Parkinson's disease and how a person's Parkinson's disease may affect their interactions with first responders.

Newborn Pulse Oximetry Screening Course

Created for the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) and the NJ Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (NJAAP), this 1-hour course includes pre- and post-testing of learners to measure the change in knowledge level that the course delivers. Through videos, diagrams, medical research explainers, and practical tests of the skills that are being taught, the course is helping to improve detection and early intervention for infants with potentially-life-threatening heart defects.

Developed for the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), the Local Health Report (LHR) captures performance data about Local Health Departments (LHDs). The LHR sets practical reporting requirements for LHDs and defines consistent, clear, and measureable reporting terms and requirements. Data from the Local Health Report allows the NJDOH and LHDs to examine and compare performance data within and across jurisdictions.

New Jersey Learning Management Network, New Jersey Office of Emergency Medical Services

View Project Description

Developed for New Jersey's Offices of Local Public Health (OLPH) and Emergency Medical Services (OEMS), the New Jersey Learning Management Network (NJLMN) and OEMS Certification System (NJEMS) database-driven websites help public health and emergency medical professionals submit license applications and payments, register for license exams, find continuing training courses, and track their continuing education credits. These systems also streamline review and recordkeeping processes for reviewers, license managers, and training providers to improve efficiency and consistency.
