RU Ready to Farm™: Specialty Crops

RU Ready to Farm™: Specialty Crops is a three-day course for beginning farmers interested in commercial vegetable production. This class will explore crop systems, management practices, and methods that will prepare participants to produce commonly grown specialty crops. Participants will have the opportunity to further investigate areas of interest including basic plant science, controlled environment production, soil health, disease identification and more. This class will include both classroom and hands-on instruction at two local farms in Middlesex County.
All participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for attending the program.
