Radon Regulations in North Carolina
In the state of North Carolina, radon certification is not required to measure radon levels or provide remediation services. However, to be listed with the NC Department of Health and Human Services, you must be certified by either the National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP) or the National Radon Safety Board (NRSB).
Visit the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Radon Program webpage for more information.
*There are no upcoming offerings scheduled in North Carolina at this time.
We also run radon training programs in New Jersey that you may be interested in. In addition, you can earn the continuing education credits you need to maintain your radon certification(s) without having to travel to a classroom by participating in any of our radon home study programs.
