Wetland Training Courses

When you come to wetland training classes at Rutgers, you will develop new skills through classroom lessons and hands-on field exercises taught by wetland experts. In addition to a number of wetlands courses, Rutgers University also offers a Wetland Delineation Certificate.

Many of our courses have been pre-approved for credits toward the Society of Wetland Scientists Professional Certification Program (SWSPCP)! Check course webpages for details.

*Please Note: If you are planning to earn the Wetland Delineation Certificate, Vegetation Identification for Wetland Delineation and Hydric Soils are prerequisites for Methodology of Delineating Wetlands.

Earn a Wetland Delineation Certificate!

Participants who attend and successfully complete the assignments for Vegetation Identification (North or South classes only), Hydric Soils, and Methodology for Delineating Wetlands will be awarded a Wetland Delineation Certificate. Adding this nationally recognized credential to your resume can help boost your career and expand your job opportunities.
