In this three-hour, instructor-led, online Pet First Aid & CPR course, learn how to take care of pets and other animals in the event of an emergency.

Animal First Aid
In the first aid portion of the course, you will learn how to check for and treat injuries. Topics covered include:

  • Bleeding
  • Choking
  • Drowning
  • Fractures
  • Heat and cold emergencies
  • Impaled objects
  • Poisoning
  • Shock
  • Splinting
  • And much more

Pet CPR
In the CPR portion of the course, you will be instructed in the proper techniques of rescue breathing, pulse check, and compressions.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will earn a nationally recognized ASHI pet first aid and CPR certification that is valid for two (2) years.

You will receive via FedEx mail:

  • A pet first aid and CPR student manual
  • An ASHI certification wallet card and print certificate (suitable for framing)
  • A quick pet first aid and CPR reference card and
  • Other emergency reference documents
