Workforce Development Unit
Grant Funded Training
Our office facilitates DOL sponsored grant-funded programs that assist companies with employee training opportunities. Skills Partnership training grant funds are available to New Jersey employers to upgrade the skills of their current employees and/or train new employees, keeping highly skilled and high wage jobs in New Jersey. This funding also provides employers with a more valuable and productive staff.
We can help you navigate the grant application process, and once approved, your company will have access to training in hundreds of topics. These courses serve a variety of job titles from clerical and customer service to food service, health care and financial management.
To receive DOL workforce training grant funding, your company must be NJ-based and free of any state tax liabilities. The qualification process takes about 5 minutes and requires very basic company information such as name, address and FEIN number.
