Description
This course has been designed to outline the process of a Security Vulnerability Analysis (SVA) a tool for analyzing risks of the potential for intentionally caused releases or thefts of chemical assets with the purpose of causing mass casualties, property damage and economic or environmental impacts.  The course will provide participants with the technical and facilitating skills required to successfully plan and execute a SVA study.  Specific topics will include:

How to lead and document security vulnerability analysis (SVA) studies
Overview of available SVA methods
How-to details, tools and tips for using asset-based and scenario-based approaches
Helpful SVA checklists for:

asset/target identification
threat definition
security practices review
vulnerability analysis

Participation in interactive workshops throughout the course will give attendees “hands-on” experience in applying the concepts presented.  An electronic template for use in documenting the analysis process will also be distributed.
