This course is designed for ecologists, engineers, planners and landscape architects involved in the recovery of impacted river, lake, riparian, wetland and coastal environments.

Drawing heavily upon real-world examples of Restoration Ecology in practice, Princeton Hydro, LLC staff and experienced leaders from New Jersey Future and Greenvest will focus on the multi-disciplined recovery of degraded, damaged, or impaired ecosystems.

Princeton Hydro was formed in 1998 with the specific mission of providing integrated ecological and engineering consulting services. Offering expertise in aquatic and terrestrial ecology, water resources engineering, and geotechnical investigations, our staff provides a full suite of environmental services.


GreenVest is a pioneer and experienced leader in the ecosystem services industry. As an innovative and effective P3 (Public Private Partnerships) solution provider, GreenVest uses private sector capital to acquire, restore and preserve land containing impaired ecological systems.


New Jersey Future is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that brings together concerned citizens and leaders to promote responsible land-use policies. The organization employs original research, analysis and advocacy to build coalitions and drive land-use policies that help revitalize cities and towns, protect natural lands and farms, provide more transportation choices beyond cars, expand access to safe and affordable neighborhoods and fuel a prosperous economy. More recently, New Jersey Future has expanded its work to include local engagement and implementation, most notably in Sandy-affected communities.

Credits and Continuing Education Units
