This course is designed to provide participants with an understanding of the use of geophysical equipment to search for and find subsurface features or utilities. Data derived from an investigation can be used for design, discovery, and clearance. Design professionals, utility companies, construction contractors, archeologists, and the curious will benefit from attending this class.

Specific topics include:

  • NJ One-Call
  • Who must call
  • ASCE Quality Levels
  • Pipe and Cable Locators
  • Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR)
  • Conductivity Meters

This course includes hands-on demonstrations of the equipment, lectures, and exams.
