Description

This online course has been developed to help recycling coordinators, public works officials, and solid waste management personnel efficiently prepare and file their required reports. 

Topics to be discussed will include:

  • Using Excel or other spreadsheet programs to collect and summarize the required data;
  • Use of the traditional "blue book" tonnage grant forms, bonus form, and summary sheet; and
  • Tips and short cuts to make filing just a bit easier!

In addition to 0.3 Rutgers CEUs, this recycling training course has been approved for the following credits:

NJ Certified Recycling Professionals (CRP): 3 Classroom Recertification credits

NJ Certified Public Works Managers (CPWM): 2 Government, 1 Info. Tech

Accessing this Online Course

This online class will be delivered via Webex. Before the class date, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to join the training session. To connect to the audio during the training session, you can use your phone or your computer (with a headset).

Please note that you will be prompted to upload a picture of yourself holding your government-issued photo ID before you begin the course. The photo must be clear enough that we can read the name and verify that the person pictured on the ID is in fact the person holding it. An OCPE staff member will review the picture and verify your identity.
