Description

Preparing a competitive grant proposal requires good research, careful preparation, and smooth writing. This course will help you make your submission the best it can be!

Specific topics will include:

  • Grant basics
  • Understanding how the funding universe works
  • Review tools for a standard grant application
  • Grant writing/budgeting techniques
  • Tips for communicating with prospective sponsors

This class is a great place to start for anyone thinking of applying for any type of grant funding! Learn what you need to know before you start!

We are also offering an Advanced Grant Writing Skills class in the afternoon - June 13, 2019 from 12:30pm - 4:00pm! Take both classes and receive a discount!

Credits

In addition to 0.3 Rutgers CEUs, this grant writing training course has been approved for the following credits:

NJ Certified Recycling Professionals (CRPs): 3 Recertification credits

NJ Certified Public Works Managers (CPWM): 3.5 Management

NJ Licensed Water & Wastewater Operators (ALL Licenses): 3 TCHs (Approval #01-091703-30)

Certified Clean Communities Coordinators: 3 Recertification credits

Location

GPS systems may not recognize campus addresses. Even if they take you to the correct building, they will not take you to the assigned parking lot. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you use the directions we provide.
