Prepare for T2, W2, and higher level drinking water licensing exams by taking Advanced Water Operations Parts 1 & 2!

You'll learn about the operation of water treatment and distribution systems in New Jersey through classroom lessons, plant tours, field visits, and exams. Successful completion of this course is required to sit for New Jersey drinking water exams level 2 and higher.

Topics covered in the Advanced Water Operations course include:

  • Sources of water and its characteristics
  • Federal and state (NJDEP) rules, regulations & standards
  • Water analysis methods
  • Surface and ground water supplies
  • Water treatment options
  • Corrosion, taste & odor control
  • Math and calculation reviews relating to drinking water operations
