Description

Instrumentation - from flow meters to pressure gauges and everything in between - plays an integral role in many work places. Do you know the why's and how's behind the equipment? If not, this course may be for you! It will present an introduction to the fundamentals of instrumentation, including vocabulary and nomenclature.

Specific topics covered in this online training course include:

  • Basic formulae, conversion, and calculations
  • Pressure and velocity

Accessing this Online Course

This online class will be delivered via Webex and can be accessed on a computer or tablet. Before the class date, you will receive an email with instructions and a link to join the training session. To connect to the audio during the training session, you can use your phone or your computer (with a headset). Webcams are not necessary; microphones are required.

You will be prompted to upload a picture of yourself holding your government-issued photo ID before you begin the course. The photo must be clear enough that we can read the name and verify that the person pictured on the ID is in fact the person holding it. An OCPE staff member will review the picture and verify your identity.
