Operating and maintaining wells and surface water treatment plants has become more complicated as drinking water standards have become more stringent. Not only must operating personnel insure that the wells and plants are producing enough water, they also must strive for efficient and reliable operations. This two-day course is designed to provide you with an understanding of the basic operation and maintenance of well systems and water treatment plants. You will get up-to-date information to help you analyze and solve operation and maintenance problems. The course material will cover all aspects of well and treatment plant operations from well pump operations, aquifer maintenance and coagulation/sedimentation processes, to filtration and disinfection.
