Description

This workshop is designed as an introduction to the analytical techniques and systems available for water quality measurements in applications including drinking water, wastewater, environmental water, and industrial water.  

Course material includes techniques for sampling and colorimetric and turbidity measurements.  The course will present the technical background of the methodologies and will incorporate practical applications of sampling and analytical testing.  Through "hands-on" exercises, each parameter will be tested for using portable field and laboratory instruments and samples of known and unknown values will be examined.   

The course may be taken as a "stand-alone" program or in tandem with "Practical Methods in Drinking Water and Wastewater Analysis II"
