Operations personnel face math problems on the job every day. This course is designed to build confidence in the understanding of basic mathematics and problem solving. In a relaxed setting, students are encouraged to draw on workplace experience and common sense to improve their basic math skills and to learn to solve math-related problems that occur daily in the workplace.
Course Objectives
Students will learn how to use formulas and will complete practice problems in the following areas:

¨ Multiplication & Division
¨ Area/Volume Calculations
¨ Metric Conversions
¨ Percentages/Graphs
¨ Weight/Volume Relationships
¨ Velocity & Flow Rate Calculations/Conversions
