This half-day course will provide you with the background materials necessary to prepare and maintain a complete Pollution Prevention (P2) Plan in accordance with the Pollution Prevention Act (N.J.S.A. 13:1D-35 et. seq.) and Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:1K et. seq.). The course will also cover the reporting associated with the planning, in particular the Pollution Prevention Plan Summary (DEP-113) and the Release and Pollution Prevention Report (RPPR or DEQ-114).
Most facilities in their second year of RPPR reporting (and facilities that previously had a 2001 base year) are required to prepare a new Plan and submit a new Plan Summary for base year 2006. The new Plan Summary is due July 1, 2007. All other facilities are required to submit progress reports as contained within the RPPR and update their plan accordingly to meet their planning requirements.
