Description

In response to rapid advances in technology, state agencies are beginning to develop and promote electronic application processes that include the electronic submission of site plans. To submit a site plan electronically, the site plan must include a digital signature and seal. This course will explain the process for affixing digital signatures and seals to site plans and will introduce some of the agencies that accept and/or will soon require site plans to be digitally signed and sealed.

Presentations from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) and Department of Transportation (DOT) will provide a brief overview of their new systems and will explain how digitally signed and sealed site plans will be submitted and reviewed moving forward.
