This newly developed one-day program is designed specifically for LSRP's and other site remediation professionals to provide hands-on guidance on common technical issues faced when planning, permitting, designing, constructing, monitoring and maintaining Vapor Intrusion (VI)/ Sub Slab Depression Systems (SSDS) under SRRA/ARRC's. This class compliments the existing Rutgers NJDEP Vapor Intrusion Guidance Course and is taught by professionals with a combined experience of 75 years in applying engineering applications to more than 150 projects since the late 1980's. Practical calculation protocols used to design and permit VI/SSDS systems will be discussed. An open LSRP forum will explore topics such as sufficiency of pre-design data, redundancy considerations, long term O & M considerations, professional judgment and remedy protectiveness issues relating to the biennial certifications involving VI/SSDS systems.

Topics Covered
