Instructors:

NJDEP instructors, including Vince Mazzei, PE, the author of the Flood Hazard Area Control Act Rules, will discuss the flood hazard area program in detail.

Who Should Participate?

This program is recommended for professionals who prepare and/or review flood hazard area applications, including: consulting engineers, environmental consultants, government officials, code officials, builders, planners, and attorneys.

Credits

In addition to 0.6 Rutgers CEUs, this environmental training course has been approved for the following credits:

NJ Licensed Professional Engineers: 6 Continuing Professional Competency Credits

NJ Licensed Water and Wastewater Operators: 6 TCHs (Approval #01-011604-30)

NJ Health Officers & Registered Environmental Health Specialists: Rutgers University, NJAES, Office of Continuing Professional Education has been approved by the New Jersey Department of Health as a provider of NJ Public Health Continuing Education Contact Hours (CEs). Photo ID Requirement
Please note that you will be prompted to upload a picture of yourself holding your government-issued photo ID before you begin the course. The photo must be clear enough that we can read the name and verify that the person pictured on the ID is in fact the person holding it. An OCPE staff member will review the picture and verify your identity. You will receive a reminder email prior to the start of the class with further instructions.
