This half-day seminar will focus on the Treatment Works Approval (TWA) program, including the General Industrial TWA program and the program for expedited TWA processing. Personnel from the NJDEP Municipal Finance and Construction Element will discuss when a TWA is required for construction projects and the applicable criteria for such permits. Technical design requirements will be addressed as well as the administrative requirements for a complete application. Instructors will also review the capacity assurance, combined sewer overflow, and sewer connection ban programs. Information regarding exemptions to sewer bans, dry sewer permits, and holding tanks will also be presented.
