Emission Statements Using RADIUS

Description

This one-day workshop provides practical, step-by-step instruction in the basic elements of RADIUS for emission statement reporting. Using a computer and actual facility emission statement data, you will gain hands-on experience with the NJDEP’s software and online resources. Students will also be able to work on their own emission statement — bring your prior year RADIUS file on a disk.

At the end of this session, you will be able to:

  • create a new emission statement from a blank document, from a converted RADIUS permit file, or from a previously submitted RADIUS emission statement
  • prepare all sections of the emission statement, including facility profile, component inventories, emission unit operating scenarios, and emission reporting form
  • use PIN numbers to submit emission statements & data to the DEP
  • use time-saving tips to streamline the emission reporting process

Prerequisite
This course will cover the preparation of an Emission Statement using RADIUS. Some basic knowledge of personal computers and Windows operating system is recommended.  Prior knowledge of air permitting and emission statement concepts is recommended, although not required.
