Ever wonder … what site sampling results are really telling you? How good is the consultant’s sampling plan in characterizing a site? How good is the laboratory data? Is the consultant using the right techniques to analyze a site?
If the answer to any of the above is YES, then you should attend this unique course!
This one-day course was originally designed for environmental and transactional lawyers to introduce them to the world of site remediation, data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation. However, in response to demand, this year's course content has been expanded to be appropriate for a broader and more diverse audience.
The morning session will be devoted to data collection techniques including soil sampling, drilling methods, drive methods, groundwater sampling, types of wells, depths of wells, collection tools, laboratory based analytical methods, field analytical methods, and TRIAD. The afternoon session will focus on the interpretation of the data – what the numbers are telling you. The importance of geology, hydrogeology, lithology, soil and water chemistry will be discussed. Data representation including 3D representation will be demonstrated. Also included will be an update on the newly created NJDEP Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) Program.
