Description

Ever wonder … what site sampling results are really telling you?  how good  is the consultant’s sampling plan in characterizing a site?  how good is the laboratory data? is the consultant using the right techniques to analyze a site?

If the answer to any of the above is YES, then you should attend this unique course!

This full day course is designed to introduce you to the world of site remediation, data collection, data analysis, and data interpretation.  The morning session will be devoted to data collection techniques including soil sampling, drilling methods, drive methods, groundwater sampling, types of wells, depths of wells, collection tools, laboratory based analytic methods, field analytical methods, and TRIAD.  The afternoon session will focus on the interpretation of the data – what the numbers are telling you.  The importance of geology, hydrogeology, lithology, soil and water chemistry will be discussed.  Data representation including 3D representation will be demonstrated.  And, of course, the lawyer’s experience with all of the above shall be presented.

Who Would Benefit from this Course?
• Environmental Attorneys with an interest in learning more about the science of site remediation
• Clients of consultants such as industrial environmental personnel and developers
• Environmental consultants new to the field
