You attended the two-day lecture program for Endangered and Threatened Species. Now, join us for field study to gain practical, hands-on experience with E&T Species experts. During this one-day course, you will visit and identify the suitable habitats of these featured species. There will also be discussion and a brief demonstration of survey techniques.
This course is dependent upon nature and weather. We cannot guarantee availability of every species and will need to reschedule to a rain date if weather is inclement. Please dress accordingly.

Instructor
Matthew P. McCort, Staff Herpetologist and Wildlife Ecologist with Herpetological Associates, Inc., specializes in ecology of reptiles and amphibians of the northeastern United States. Herpetological Associates, Inc. has concentrated on the study of endangered and threatened reptiles and amphibians since 1977. Matthew has assisted in research and conducted surveys for endangered, threatened, and rare wildlife species throughout the northeastern states, as well as in South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Aruba. In addition to his interest in reptiles, amphibians, and birds, Matthew is proficient in GIS analysis.
