This six-hour course will give attendees an overview of RRNC building techniques, testing options, troubleshooting, and reduction options for RRNC homes at or above the EPA guideline. Participants will leave with a greater understanding of RRNC practices and tools with which to approach area builders concerning RRNC home building.

Topics include:

  • An overview of RRNC building techniques
  • Testing options
  • Troubleshooting
  • Reduction options for RRNC homes with radon levels above EPA guidelines
  • Installation techniques for passive radon systems
  • Conversion of passive radon systems to active
  • Marketing strategies
  • And more!

National Radon Proficiency Program (NRPP): 6 hours
