This half-day class supplies continuing education credits and is ideal for code officials who cover both new construction and existing homes.

The course will cover the following topics:

  • Why radon is a real danger
  • Common radon system installation mistakes
  • Common code and PADEP radon mitigation violations
  • Examples of code violations, including incorrect placement of system, incorrect wiring, wrong type of piping, incorrect venting and more
  • Overall system inadequacies
