This class will teach you about Radon Resistant New Construction in the state of Georgia. In addition to information about radon and how it moves through buildings, the course will cover the latest rules and guidelines recently adopted in Gwinnett County. The course will go over the current building codes and methods of construction. You will learn about the inspection process and things to avoid.

Topics include:

  • History of Gwinnett County's adoption of Appendix F
  • Present Radon Resistant New Construction (RRNC) codes and methods
  • Appendix F
  • RRNC and local construction
  • How to inspect RRNC – Appendix F
  • Future of RRNC in GA
