Description

Take the next step in your personal and professional journey with this practical leadership crash course in professionalism, personal branding, public speaking, and skill development. This online course will help you gain a better understanding of your personal leadership and communication style so you can enhance your emotional intelligence and put your best foot forward as you enter the workforce.

Broken down into four sessions, each virtual module is designed to be highly interactive and leave participants with tangible skills they can immediately apply.

Learning Objectives:

  • Understand your leadership style and how it may be perceived by others
  • Learn the tenets of good public speaking and speech design, and practice applying those skills in a safe environment
  • Explore and enhance emotional intelligence knowledge
  • Leverage self-awareness so you can network and tell your story for future success

Through a combination of live online meetings and activities designed to reinforce the concepts learned in the virtual sessions, this online program will give attendees three of the six educational credits required under the J-1 visa. Registration Fee $295.00 Includes all course materials, certificate of completion, and other J-1 required documentation.

Accessing this Online Course

This online course will be delivered via Rutgers Canvas learning management system. Registrants will receive an email with a link to access the course and a document with tips on how to use Canvas on January 26, 2021.

  • A computer or tablet
  • Microphones and webcams are required as this is a very interactive course
