Description

This intensive au pair weekend course will focus on helping students develop their own personalized toolbox of communication and conflict management strategies and skills. Cooperating with others in both professional and personal settings creates a much more productive and harmonious work and home environment.

Through this course, students will be able to apply these skills to determine the best approach to a variety of social situations.

This course is broken down into five sessions, each designed to assist in increasing communication and cooperation between colleagues, friends, and families.

Topics include the True Colors™ personality assessment which is designed to:

  • help students gain insight into themselves and others,
  • identify their personal conflict management style,
  • learn strategies for handling conflict with the adults in their lives,
  • tackle conflicts with youth, and,
  • explore the dynamics of sibling rivalry.

Interactive exercises and small group sessions will help to reinforce the information presented in class.

This program is sure to fill fast – so register before it is too late!
