Grow better grass before you plant the first seed!

Joe Clark, who establishes countless acres of grass at the Rutgers Turf Research Farm, and Nancy Bosold (Penn State Cooperative Extension) combine classroom lectures with hands-on field demonstrations to provide practical turf management instruction.

Topics covered include:

  • Preparing Your Plan
  • Seeding Rates
  • Soil Preparation
  • Weed Control
  • Irrigation Rates
  • Soil Testing and Interpretation
  • Fungicides

The February 5, 2015 offering of this course was approved for the following credits. We will reapply for similar credits the next time the course runs, but we cannot guarantee credit approval for future offerings.

NOTE: Individuals who wish to receive pesticide recertification credits at any of our courses will need to know their applicator license number. Please bring your pesticide license with you to class.
