Description

Once an irrigation system is installed, the ability to troubleshoot repairs on-site becomes a “money skill.” The agenda will cover leak detection and repair and will allow ample time for discussions and questions. Bob Dobson covers repair of heads and solenoids, identifying and replacing malfunctioning valves, sprinkler maintenance, identifying and repairing leaking pipes and electrical troubleshooting.

Faculty

Bob Dobson
Bob is a certified residential, commercial, and golf course irrigation designer, as well as a certified irrigation contractor. He has run his own irrigation firm, Middletown Sprinkler Company, since 1968 and helped draft the 1990 legislation requiring certification for irrigation professionals. Former chairman of the certification board and head of a multi-million dollar company, Bob brings to the classroom a wealth of real world experience and practical knowledge along with a passion for teaching that is second to none.
