Full Course Description

Through interactive discussions in intimate classes, hear from Jim and your colleagues about their different methods of estimation, and the pros and cons of each. Bring your own estimating sheets for review in class and join us afterward for a pizza dinner on the 17th to talk with Jim one-on-one about estimating and building your business. Jim will cover all the basics and then some, including lump sum bids and unit price bids, estimating methods that work and ones you should avoid, and comprehensive explanations of financial terms so that you can stay on top of your business activity. You cannot afford not to cover your costs, and you can’t afford to miss this course!

Course Objectives:

• To learn five different ways of arriving at an estimate
• To explain what’s right and wrong with each approach
• To better be able to produce lump sums and unit price bids

In addition to 2 days of invaluable education, participants will have the option of purchasing the comprehensive book, How to Price Landscape Irrigation Projects, at the course.
