Full Course Description

Learn the latest “tricks of the trade” from some of the most experienced professionals in the tri-state area. General Session topics to be discussed will include equipment, calibrating equipment, de-icing chemicals, outsourcing and public contracting. The class will split into two separate groups comprising “public” and “private” segments. The Public Session topics will cover establishing best practices, designating routes and training for employees as well as “During the Storm: Public and Operator Safety Considerations,” and “After the Storm: Benchmarking.” In the Private Session you will learn the basics of how to manage a snow and ice business, including pricing, marketing, training and integrating with your existing business clients and services.
