Description

Good landscape design matches the right plants with the unique conditions of each site. For more than 25 years, the “Basics of Landscape Design” short course has been training green industry professionals in the art of “what goes where and why.” If you are designing landscapes for your clients, or want to develop that talent, you need the skills learned in this course. Taught over 10 half-day sessions, we will cover the basics of gathering site data, accurate base plans, landscape plan graphics, effective plant selection, planting design, outdoor space designs, basic grading and drainage, and planning various landscape elements.

“This class was an absolutely excellent introduction to landscape design. If you do the work, the objectives are achieved.” (2006 participant)
