Adhering to social distancing precautions, people are spending more time at home than ever. What better time to make your outdoor living space more comfortable and inviting? Rutgers Home Gardeners School @Home Edition's one-hour Designing the Yard of Your Dreams course is a great way to learn how to turn your property into a backyard oasis.

Landscape Architect Jim Welsh will discuss the steps for designing your property. We'll start with the basics of making an accurate base drawing and analyzing your site. Then the fun begins when we think about what can happen in your yard. Having trouble thinking of the possibilities? No problem. We'll show you ways to expand your imagination and see the many options. Whether that means adding a garden, shed, trampoline, horseshoe pit, outdoor bar, firepit, pool, or pond, Jim will walk you through the steps of the design process to optimize your space and design your private outdoor escape.

In just one short hour, Jim offers tons of tips to make your yard look and feel like a relaxing and fun retreat for you, your family, and your friends! Register today!
