A continental breakfast and tea/coffee will be provided with registration fee. An optional box lunch will be available for $20 which covers lunch for both days. To order a lunch, include payment with your registration and mark the appropriate space on the registration form. Please indicate if you would like a vegetarian lunch. Many participants however, do bring their own bag lunch.
Come cultivate your abilities as a beekeeper! This two-day hands-on instructional program is designed as the next step for apiarists who have knowledge of the industry and have kept a colony for at least one (1) full year. Attendees should have a general knowledge of the language and terminology of beekeeping as well as a basic understanding of the biology of Honey bees. Fundamentals of beekeeping will not be covered.

- Methods and equipment for moving Honey bees
- Feeding methods and equipment
- Honey removal methods
- Small-scale queen and nuc production
The course will consist of morning lectures in the classroom and afternoons in the bee yard applying the methods learned earlier in the day.
Since you will be working with LIVE bees, please be aware that there is a small risk of bee stings occurring during the program.
