Teacher Training Workshops

NJ Project WET Teacher Training

Project WET
(Water Education for Teachers) workshops provide educators with accurate insights into critical water issues while offering a large selection of creative teaching strategies that are hands-on, easy to use, and fun.

Each of the following workshops is based around a curriculum guide containing dozens of classroom tested and teacher endorsed activities designed to facilitate and promote awareness, appreciation, knowledge and stewardship of water resources.  Each workshop is led by an experienced Project WET Facilitator, who will enable educators to experience several of the activities described in the curriculum guide.
Participants will learn how to adapt these activities to their particular classroom, and how they can be correlated to New Jersey ’s Core Curriculum Content Standards.

New Jersey Project WET
is a registered New Jersey Professional Development Provider (#466).  The workshops generally last from 6 to 7 hours.  However, alternative formats are available.
