Home > Online Classes for Au Pairs
Since 2016, the Rutgers Office of Continuing Professional Education has offered convenient weekend courses for au pairs to earn the education credits required under the J-1 Visa program. We have had over 500 participants from more than a dozen countries, including Australia, Brazil, China, England, France, Germany, Mexico, and Russia.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to maintain social distancing to keep our au pair students and instructors safe and healthy, we are now offering online courses that are approved for J-1 visa credits. We have developed a variety of engaging, interactive programs that will allow you to earn the J-1 credits you need, learn new and interesting skills from dynamic Rutgers instructors, and connect with other au pairs from around the country. Whether you are looking for a self-paced program that gives you the flexibility to complete coursework around your busy schedule or you prefer a live class with real-time interaction with fellow classmates, we have a course that will fit your needs.
Below is a list of our upcoming online au pair courses. More great options are coming soon! Please join our email list to be notified as soon as we announce new online courses.
